The Camp commenced August 02 to 04,2017 at SSC, (75) participants attended from an estimated (100).
Dr David Singh presided at the opening session vice Mr Chris Fernandes (Bd. Chair). Welcome Remarks were delivered by Mrs Paulette Merell (Principal-SSC).
Dr Mayrose Salvador and her team of volunteers were given a warm welcome and at the end of the Camp they were taken on a trip to the majestic Kaieteur Falls.

Participants at the Camp enjoyed the (3) days of interactive sessions organised by the facilitators. The days activities were very exciting due to the practicality and simplicity of the experiments done. Also in attendance at the Camp were members of Team Guyana just back from their highly successful Robotic competition in the USA

At the close of the Science Camp certificates of participation were issued participants and tokens of appreciation given to Mayrose and team.
On behalf of the School Board , the Ministry of Education and participants we say Thank You to Toronto Alumni,Mayrose and team and all others who helped to make the Camp a reality.
Vibert Hart.
