The Siwa Oasis


This helps remind everyone that the Berber language family is native to Africa, just as Ancient Egyptian was. So is Semitic, as evidenced by recent research on some Ethiopian languages. The Afro-Asiatic language phylum spread outwards to the Middle East from Africa, not the other way round.
